Just thinking out loud here, but would there be any way to put the Typhoon engine and tranny in a newer style Jimmy (95-01)? I used to drive a 94 Blazer for work, and then had a 96 Jimmy. The interior and exterior of the 96 is leaps and bounds better than the 94 (and they kept making improvements in the years after that as well). The engine and platform stayed pretty much the same throughout, so what's stopping this from happening, besides the money?
