Here are a couple of pics of what Colter and I did today. We recontented the door handle lights to his Contour in the form of blue LEDS. His defroster light switch is now blue with a green status lamp (no pic sorry).

Total cost is under $30. About three hours (Pollo's front doors were fighting him), and one PISSED OFF wife (Pollo's).

Escort, I will dig through my hard drive and find the pics of my car at night. It looks the same.

These are the ones of my car. Colter wanted to see what they looked like at night before we did them on his car.

I love them. They are a little brighter at night then the pictures that Exdelayed posted. I have a couple left over and I am trying to figure out where I want to put them. Any suggestions?

BTW we did notice a difference between Exdelayed's 96 and my 99. His lights in the window controls and lock controls don't come on until he turns on his headlights. Mine are on anytime the car is on. So the wires to hook into are different for different years. If anyone could find out the year that the lights started staying on in that would make the how-to easier.

I will have to see yours at night. Maybe I will go through and change the resistors on mine.
