Well, when I bought this car, it was filthy inside and out and had a power steering leak, oil pan leak and valve cover...but it drove well. This is what it looks like after cleaning it up and doing the engine work myself.

Recall's done
Cooling fan relay
Engine wiring harness replaced
Precats, Y pipe and catalyst replaced - did make a big difference!!!!

The last two pictures are of the fuel injector wiring harness and what shape it was in when I pulled the upper intake off. The insulation was almost completly gone! I surprised the engine didn't catch on fire!

Yea, it's just a clipon compass and temperature gauge.

Later this year I plan on repainting the car a metallic blue. I have a new front bumper cover in storage that cost me 68 dollars new!

Will replace the rims when the tires need replacing.

Come on now don't bash the HUBCAPS. That's what my winter caps look like. Not a bad look for $20. Thats a nice clean car.

Are you goin to swap the headlights out also?

I pulled out the old carpet myself and installed a new one..Ford chestnut color or something like that. I also pulled the seats and shampooed them.

What options are available to me on the headlight replacements? These have turned yellow and gray and don't look too great.

Thanks for the comments!

Bob

Used car dealer (not Ford) wanted $3,900. I bought the car for $2,900.00 because of the problems. In spite of the problems I was impressed with the car. I haven't bought used in over a decade!
