John
i totally support how you feel about what i said. it's weird that i said what i did, because i am the type of person you said you are. i guess tonight i wasn't wanting to hear what i read about my buddy. guess all i wanted to do is take action. one thing i dont do though is tell people honestly everything. i am a person that actually likes to have friends. friends arent suppose to be criticized by one another. by coming to this website i was hoping to be considered a friend by everyone. i knew it wasn't possible so why did i get my hopes up. oh well, you learn new things each day.

Gonna agree a bit with John here. But, I really think you need to rethink your website first. Tell your friend to take that shizzle down. Also, these guys ain't your enemies, they are just a group of "people", and they are gonna tell you what they think (ahh, the beauty of free speech). Expect a few flames, hell, expect a lot! Just tough it out, and you will be fine. Ask Sam for some pointers on your site. Also, try this: Ignore the flames! Don't respnd to every single one of them. You end up digging yourself into a hole you will never get out of. And last but not least, think of it this way: Who the hell are these people to tell you anything anywyas? Do they know you? Have they met you? Stay low Chris and it will work out.....

From what I gather from your post, you will lie in order to make friends? Come on dude.... by coming to this website i was hoping to be considered a friend by everyone. i knew it wasn't possible so why did i get my hopes up. oh well, you learn new things each day. It's virtually impossible to be liked by everyone. There will always be people that won't like you, or that will be jealous. (like me, of your Vortech. ) Fact of the matter is, I'm not gonna lie to anybody on here just to make me or somebody else feel better. John

John- the Vortech is great. i thought i blew the car up though this past weekend racing a GXSR600 on the highway. it was neck and neck till 120mph. my car all of a sudden started pinging severely. looked down and the CEL cam flashing on and after the fourth flash it stayed on. i knew i just blew the motor. i get home and a buddy told me that supercharged/turboed/NOS vehicles have problems with spark plugs. so i check them and sure enough 2 of them were almost disintergrated. i changed them out and the car runs like a dream. so i think i migth end up keeping the Vortech.

FYI forced induction cars often like plugs in a different heat index than a n/a car. If it was me I would contact the vendor and fellow owners to see if you are maybe running too hot of a plug...good luck! Originally posted by PhatSVT: John-

the local performance shop had installed these plugs for me. the guy told me that it's a good idea to run just regular copper plugs cause they run cooler. so i am running what he installed. they are the Autolites 764 (i think that's the number). they seem to have did the trick for now. i am going to change them about every 6 months.
