Just as a clarification of some of the intentions of the SVT/SVO guys:
It was Ford's intention all along that they would make certain special production vehicles that had "trick" goodies on the car that would be universally interchangeable between the SVT and lower model cars. Which would explain the SVO/SVT catalogs that have accompanied every single issuance of a new SVO/SVT model. In theory, you could change your 99 V6 Mustanf in to a 99 SVT Cobra...cost effective? Not a chance!!! Possible? Definitely!
Have not bothered to look at the "intruder" to SVT-dom, but if he's doing the right things he could obviously fit all the SVT bodywork on the car, plus all the exhaust and other cosmetic bodywork to make it look like an SVT, and your dumba$$ OR MINE for that matter would never know until you lifted the hood. Now if he just takes a GL and drops some badges on it without doing anything that's a little different....
But you just need to realize what FORD's intentions originally were when they made the SVO/SVT lines.
I'm done.
