Well the weather finally cleared up and I was able to take some pictures of my latest mods.

FYI: I washed my car yesterday and put a quick coat of Z-6. Then later that night it rained. smile Went out to my car this mourning and found it looking almost as good as after I washed it. So I figured I'd take some pics, and thats what you see.

The front/rear lower grills were somewhat hard to get attached. The rear I used rivets and large washers to hold it in place. The front we did last and were able to use the existing clips to hold it in place. After several coats of paint on the ring, and alot of cuts from the VERY SHARP alumn. Mesh smile This is the result.

Thanks to Elky for the Mesh. I liked it because it had large enough holes to not restrict air flow and was durable enough to withstand light impact. Although, due to the large hole design, it was hard to cut the mesh correctly. So it wouldn't show any holes. Overall I am very happy, it gives my front end a very aggressive look!

Below are pictures of my engine which hasn't been cleaned in quite a while so please excuse the dirtiness! laugh I changed the hoses to Ford Blue and added FMS 9mm Wires. I might be painting the OMP bar Blue as well, but I'm not sure if it will be too much Blue? What do you guys think?

Oh yea...I also added the Bonnet Lifters, which I love! Thanks to the Group buy for the great deal!

Finally I finished my trunk template. As you can see I flush mounted the ADS Crossovers to my components and ADS PH30.2 amp. (Which powers my whole system). Behind the template there are 2 10" ADS Subs in a flush mounted box facing forwards. In the front I have a Sony C90 and a set of 346is 6.5" ADS Components, where I have flush mounted the tweeters in the Door Air Vents. Notice I painted them the same color as the interior.

Let me know what you guys think of the grill...etc?

cool

Once again, one of the nicest SVT's (heck Contour) that I've ever seen! VERY nice!

Do you have larger pics, like 1024x768?
EDIT: Nevermind, found em on your site!

Your car looks AWESOME!!! One question: How difficult was it to flush mount the tweeter? Ok... Maybe two questions: How do you like the ADS amp?

Actually it was pretty hard, but not impossibl smile ! What I had to do is cut the mirror adjustment harness out, and solder the connections to give more depth. Depending on how your tweeters mount you may or maynot have to do this. I also cut down some of the un-needed plastic behind there.

Drilling the actual holes in the panel was somewhat difficult, since space was limited. I just used a circle bit the same size as my tweeter.(Or just a bit smaller) Be carefull not to cut into the rear of the panel, it will create a space. Also its hard to make it sit flush since the surface isn't flat but rather curved.

As for the ADS amp. Its sooooo Nice! I upgraded from a Soundstream, and I really wasn't expecting the amp to change my sound so dramatically. But it did! SQ is extrememly nice now, and not to mention tons of adjustability. I still have yet to play with it much...just not enough time with College! laugh

Hope that helps!

Thats actually on my todo list! I need new light though, since my driver side is very faded and my passenger side is Brand New...It just doesn't look right!

Thanks for all the compliments!
