My coworker just took me for a ride in his s2000. I will never race one in my tour. I love my tour but the s2k's are baaaaad>

Hmm.. I don't think so  2000 Honda S2000 0-60: 5.2s 1/4: 13.8s @ 100 mph You're gonna REALLY have to step up the Contour.. David Z's 280hp beast is only putting down a 14.08s 1/4, and I haven't seen any S/C ones in the 13s yet. Too bad the car's so damn small, if you're over 6ft tall, it's just too tight.

the s2k is a sick sports car. but not a good drag car. You have to bury the tach to get a good launch. The typical owner will launch at lower than 5k rpms and will bog their way to a 15. Gotta get over your hesitancy and launch that sucker at 7k.

Ever since I sat in a brand new one here ATL that was titanium grey with red seats. I'd love to own one, so I try and pay attention at the strip. I bet they could benefit from an 8k launch, but that's unnerving to most.
