Since Chris Arslanyan & his GF Wendy were intown we all decided to hang out and Sunday we ended up in Chicago at the Museum of Science & Industry.

We decided to check out the U-505 U-boat, while waiting we came across the display of the boat's engine parts. They are HUGE! The piston was bigger in diameter then a basketball! To give you all an idea of the size this is a pic of me sticking my head inside of the rod bearing!

Later in the day we came across a display about automotive emissions...we decided to "Gut" one of the display pieces:

What ever happened with the speeding tickets they got at the Dragon?

They hired a lawyer... Chris gets to test out his goodies next month because they have to go back down there for court. Lawyer can't just appear for them.

Just a guess.. but why else would anyone visit the western Michigan area, Terry's stomping grounds???

Nothing to see here keep moving. Let's just say Chris is going to be the first to have some of these mods.

Well, we got back home today, sans the SVT. Terry found some scored bearings in the tranny and we had to order more parts. Thus, pushing all of the other stuff back and plus my oil-filter relocation kit didn't quite work. But, all in all, we had a great time in MI and can't wait to get my car back. Terry will deliver the car around Wed and then we get to play. Some of the goodies are:
1) 2qt AccuSump system
2) Electric waterpump
3) Custom oil-filter relocation kit (may be on-sale by HMS Inc.)
4) BAT handling kit installed
5) UR Stage 1 clutch, lightened SVT flywheel
6) Driveshaftshop.com HD driveshafts
7) Aussie bar, if it arrives in time
8) 60k service completed by HMS Inc.
9) Fixed alternator and starter
10) New rear roll restrictor
11) ES inserts for the front roll restrictor
12) Fixed my O2 problems
13) BullDog Box, with the pressure lube and heating system
14) Lots of custom plumbing for the new stuff
15) Lots of custom electrical work, i.e. manual override for the AccuSump to dump the oil when performing an oil change...
