mmarfan, the shiping cost of $50 is to get it shipped to me from the manufacturer. They have a minimum charge for anything shipped by truck that is under 500 pounds. the 3X5 sheet only weighs around 5 pounds. and it is too big to ship any other way.
for me to send out the cut to size pieces by usps shipping is only around $8.50. for regular delivery. UPS was about $45 to N.carolina.
