It's a shame that GM couldn't market/design a car as popular as the Mustang, but make it run like an Fbody. Likewise it is sad that Ford never built something to compete on the performance level with the Hipro Fbody. Mustangs are all show and no go, but with a bit of money and know how the old 'Stangs can be made to compete with them.... Sure there were a few years where the Mustangs actually were competitive... It would be nice if Ford could once again be a automotive leader in performance like they were in the 60's, but with Marketing/Accountants calling all the shots, we will continue to see overweight/underpowered/overpriced cars/trucks that have the personality of a wet sacks, and the appeal of a potato.
I can only dream and hope for a slip from Ford that will result in just one year production of a car comparible with the 427 AC Cobra.......
