The pics of the gauges at night are interesting. Some of the numbers on the speedo and the MPH are dark, which is how mine is. I just thought mine was crappy. laugh

Beautiful clear pics! What kind of camera?

Actually that is just what I had in mind! laugh

So is this your profession or just a hobby?

I think come Spring, I need to dust off the Nikon SLR and go see what she'll do. Since I got my Digital I 've been neglecting her.

Man, that is a nice camera. Those pics look like the ones you see on a chevy or ford website! Those are great.

Mizman !!!!

Those are some of the most amazing pics I have seen !
I especially liked the pics of water on the hood.

I also noticed that your right muffler is hanging lower than normal.
Check your hanger.

well, it is a serious hobby but it is the car or subject that is inspiring

Thank you for your feedback and I hope to have more pics for you in the future. As far as the digital cam goes, I have not touched my SLR since I got the Olympus. Many conservatives would jump at that statement but I have been very satisfied with it. It has a 10x optical and 27x digital with image stabilizer which means most of those night shots were done hand-held (very difficult to do with regular film at conventional speeds).

If anyone is curious as to the photo info, check the meta info in the properties of the pic, or email me and I'll be happy to give you some ideas. And it is a great compliment that some of you would use them as wallpapers...thanks

excellent job, I have never been able to get a steady speedo pic at night without a flash which makes it look like crap, maybe if I get some fast film for the SLR.....

Every time I come online I wonder if the forums will be up

you have to actually pan with the car...i put the camera up to the window and held it tight (like a tripod) and hope for the best. Then you release for about 1 second and hope it does not move. The result: your car is clear but the backround is blurred....

Warning: DO NOT try this with a film camera because it will cost alot of money just for one good pic...digital is the way to go.
