demonsvt... i understand your skeptisism... What i got from talking to Leo is that he thought he would melt a buldog box just as quick as a norm mtx75. I wasnt able to discuss it with him enough... and since Terry doest say what exactly is done... its almost imposible to even discuss this. I cant tell you about leo's tranny... and Terry wont talk about about his...
Here is how he represented it to me. They were told by Ford that the mtx75 was not made to handle what they were doing to it. NOTHING inside.. or even the casing for that matter was able to take what they were givving it. So you see... leo MUST use a mtx75... but this one is much much much diffrent. Sure the pressure lube and heater cooler is great... but it wont prevent a gear from shredding itself... I dunno.. maybe leo and i underestimate Terry... its posible.. im trying to get them to talk to each other... and im sorry.. but back when i *****ed last time about the notion that Terry "discovered" the sho berrings i was told that Terry and Leo are old friends... well... dont tell Leo that.. its news to him. ANYWAYS... here nor there... im not trying to turn this into a my expert is better then your expert.. cus thats not it. Im just saying that until i learn more about what EXACTLY a bulldog box is for the price its not worth it to me... a pressure lube system and a heater cooler with upgrades to the syncros is all i heard for certain so far... that doesnt make the gears any tougher... i think a person would be better off getting a hardened gearset and quaife going from there... bet it would outlast a bulldog box.
Im not trying to start a problem here... its just that leo called into doubt the bulldog box which i for one have always held as awesome. When a man who has the mtx75 experience he does tells me my tranny plans are MAY be flawed... i listen.
