I saw some on a big benz a few months ago, they looked like the same ones the benz wagon had in the video. They looked pretty darned cool to me. I'd never get them, ESPECIALLY on my 'Tour. They're probably hell to clean.

When I bought the Tantrums they had them in the shop I bought them. They had just gotten em. I asked the price for the 20's. HE said 2000 bucks. Decent price, until I found out that was for one of em!!!!

The use bearings, they were on MTV and the car they were on: it looked good. Black car is all I can remember. It could be pulled off by certain cars, but not anything American.
Just call me Judge. People suck. Life begins at 170mph...until that point it is just boring.....

I agree, they had those on a new Lexus SC430 and they looked sweet. I really dont see why the whole "dub" culture is looked down upon at the CEG. I see nothing wrong with 20's on something like a DTS, STS, Lexus or Benz or 22's on a SUV, in fact I love the look. when it comes to aesthetics, the rims do make the car.
I can see why someone putting 40 pound chrome rims on a touring car like the Tour isn't the smartest move. but there are some chrome rims that do look good on the car and weigh nearly the same as some of the aluminum rims people have here. The nicest CSVT I've ever seen in my life had 19" chrome Giovanna Kobe racing wheels.

The CEG is generally Anti-SUV, so anything that makes an SUV any less utilitarian than they already are, gives us more fuel to attack them. I personally find the 22 to 26" rims sort of humorous and ungainly looking, but I don't mind some 20" rims with a decent amount of rubber on them. There has to be a balance to have good asthetics. I don't consider 22" rims with forklift tires to have balance. BTW, I have nothing against SUVs but it's easy to tell they are not liked around these parts.

BTW, I have nothing against SUVs but it's easy to tell they are not liked around these parts. well that explains it a little better for me. The point I'm trying to make is that on an Escalade or Denali, those things are so big that the stock 17" rims dont even look right. When you put 22's on there, it fills the wheel wells perfectly. 26" rims are comical though. the luxury SUVs are fine but the Typhoon is the only SUV I'll ever wish I had.
