The smooth lines of the SVT's and any kind of wink don't mix. But for some reason it looked good on yout car. Probaly because the paint job was so in your face the wing kinda just slipped in. I can't really understand why you would spend the big $ to have it painted just to have it painted back. Either way can't wait to see the final result.

the best part of owning a SVT??
quote from various honda, camaro, celica, DSM owners after a race... "What the hell is that thing?!!!"

89' Taurus SHO - DOA
95' 200SX SE-R - Sold
98.5 Contour SVT - Just right!

Was it just me or did it sound like the rev limiter was being hit on every single shift?

Not exactly a great thing for speed. Heck would be better to shift the car at 6000 rpm instead of sitting at the limiter for a second. I usually grab mine at 6800.

Actually I was gonna ask the same question. Were you bouncing it off the limiter??? Or was it just the sound quality?

I'm in for the 2nd opinion on painting that thing all Orange - No one would ever be able to follow you and do the same! It would look sharp too wink
