OK just wondering. I have always wanted to take a drive through that part of the country. Only time I was in Tennessee, NC, etc was in a truck. No time for sightseeing.

They usually do, especially these two.

But, they never saw the cop until he was like 10 feet behind them. He woulda gotten their plates if they ran.

From what I understand the cops also patrol with helicopters so people running from a guy on the road probably isn't gonna happen and if it does somehow they'd get caught.

if i got a 450 ticket i would not be smiling, but since you got it :p

Pascal, I blame all of this on JVT! He took off and damnnit, I didn't want to look bad, so I took off too! DOH! Oh yeah, my ticket was the most, at $505.50.

I wasn't smiling either, but this is the kind of stuff you have to smile at.

I thought we were going to jail, so I considered myself lucky.

Now, I'm not laughing anymore because chances are my license will get suspended...

No, I took that one the way home, in northern Kentucky.. I've seen the sign for the park on the interstate numerous times, but I had my camera with me this time, so I just had to snap a picture!

I think we were in Big Bendmiover State Park (old Indian name, don't ya know )in Tennessee when they got the tickets..

I took that picture at the top and posted the priceless comments in another thread... But it's only $1735.50 total..

$365 for JV and Ben, $500.50 for David, $505 for Chris.

On the dragon itself, the top speed you can hit is probably 40 - 45mph, if you're pushing it. Accellerate out of a turn for a couple seconds, and it's right back on the brakes again for the next turn.

And, yea, they patrol the area with helicopters, but the weather was pretty bad on Saturday (not raining, just a low cieling), I doubt they were up. On the NC side, they have painted white lines on the road for timing from the air. We couldn't find any white spray paint around, we wanted to draw some new lines to help them out...

Sh!t, five of us had radar detectors going! Not a single beep out of any of them!

As soon as the trooper pulled out, I was on the radio hollaring at em to slow down cause Smokey was on the way. I guess John didn't hear the call and just continued on...
