You were just b.s.ed. Mine is silver and I had to paint it. Use the search function and there should be a "how to". try aesthetics first. I can't quite remember where I saw it.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

I had mine painted black as well, and it turned out perfect.. I sold it to Y2KMondeo, if you do a search, you can probably find links to his photo album as well.

I had mine painted at a Ford body shop, and it perfectly matched my car. I have a T-Red SVT.

Yes, it has to be clearcoated!

I paid $50, under the table to the shop manager. They have gallons of T-red sitting around as it is a stock color on lots of cars.

Most people pay around $100 to have it done

Well, I would like to say thanks to some, and "That's fine, it's your opinion." to others. smile Personally, I like it, and since it's my car, that's what matters to me. wink

In fact, I wasn't aware that Tim had posted those pics of my car until I made some comments on his Zaino mod to the headlights, which I really, really like. smile

Sooooo. I might just have to attempt this particular mod... smile

BTW, can anybody inform me as to what this "Mystery Mod" I've heard about is... I've seen no posts about it (that I've really read, at least) on the email list, and obviously, I haven't participated too much on these forums, but now I'm getting a bit more interested for having noticed stuff I never saw before. smile

Anyhow... Thanks to the supporters... And thanks to the others for having the balls to express yerself. wink (Tho I don't personally think my car looks like ass. wink
