you know, its really not that bad since it always have air rushing in from the bottom side of the heatshield. ive checked a few times after coming home and then propping the hood and feeling how warm it was. and it was actually moderately cool. however, i plan on adding the other piece from the stock air box that connects to the fender just for more cool air.
Perhaps an air duct in the hood over the heat shield?
