After talking to quite a few dealers trying to find a yellow one :rolleyes:, now is the time to buy. Most dealers are hurting because of the economy and the Subaru dealers have lots of WRX's sitting on their lots. All the dealer's told me that most of the people that knew about the car and wanted it, have bought one. They now have all the leftover cars and are trying to sell them to the "un-informed". We just bought this one on Monday and got a great deal. The dealer was ready to kiss just about anything just to move these cars.
This car had quite a few upgrades, such as:
-Auto tranny $1,000 (hey it's my wife's car ;))
-Rear wing (standard on yellow) $450
-Upgraded Security System $350
-Upgraded Sound system (speakers, sub w/amp) $300
-Auto dimming rearview mirror with compass $150
-Floor mats with WRX logo $75
All of these features plus the price of the car would have put the total around $26K / $26.5K and we got the price down to $24,222 with out any haggling . The dealers are really hurting and are doing anything to move these cars, so it's a buyers market right now.
