You got 4 wheel disks if you had a stick. Drums came with the ATX. I couldn't even get 4 wheel disk with my ATX, even though I ordered it.

Something about the ATX provides some braking, and most people put it in neutral from 70mph to stop.

Holy Sh!T eek

I actually think I would rather attend his school than Bondurants. Talk about impressing your friends.

I take it this can only be done with a manual trans. If you can do this with a auto, I may be renting a car real soon.

also, something to take offense to:

"all the cars that we have here today , there's nothing special about them whatsoever."

i know he means well, but that hurts.

Haha, yeah, he obviously is implying that they are basically stock. Can anyone confirm that the car in the vid really does have a modified suspension? Because you'd think he would avoid saying that there isn't anything "special" about the cars if they did anything other than very minor modifications.

Anyone else notice the Mystique? It's at about 44 secs in the long version right after the Escort does a 180 and he's talking to a group.

I'd say because he roasts tires pretty quick dragggin em down (see black tire marks on pavement 50yds down the road)
Whitewalls be pretty cheap on the stocker 15" wheels. That and I would think you would want cheapo all-season tires that have no stick so you can slide it at ease.

I ve been to a similar school and know how to do that stuff. I do it in my Contour and I have an ATX and ABS. No problems. Its pretty easy to learn but you need to have a good feel for what the car is doing.
