The emblems are there because it is covering up some nasty scratches that were left from when the previous owner added the side marker lights frown

No flame taken smile

The bullit door is attached to the plastic liner and was intended to be away from the body about 1mm. It is not flush but it is even all the way around. I did this for 3 reasons.

1. The fuel filler neck and fuel tank vent line are supported by the plastic liner.

2. I didn't like looking down and seeing the ground through the fuel filler area.

3. The door would not sit flush all the way around, as the Mustang has a flatter quarter panel.

I don't know if any one tried to attach their door to the plastic liner, and reinstall, but I did.

Thanks for your comments.

Chris,

I'm still working on attaching my Bullitt fuel door to the liner. The wife and kid are keeping me pretty busy. Would it be possible to see a closeup shot of your fuel door to see how 1mm out looks?

Thanks,

Which picture would you like? I still have all of them in 1024x768 format. I can email it to you off the forums. Send me an email indicating which one.

Thanks.

Chris, how do u know your car has traction control. Any chance my 99svt has it without me knowing. Any way we can get the traction control system from ford.

What did u use for your grills. Really cool zigzig look.
