have any of you cut your springs is so how many to give a drop without scraping on 17's

Hey newbie, what they're saying is don't ruin your car's ride or performance by cutting the springs. Replace them with aftermarket ones along with the proper struts. There are several manufacturers and distributors listed on the links pages linked off of the main contour.org page. You might also try searching in the suspension section for past posts. Good luck.

Just get the Ground Control coilover kit. That way you can drop it as low as you want. Just get some good struts like Brad said.
