Yes but you are forgetting that the above system also removes the stock y-pipe for a setup similar to the SHO Shop Y-pipe, using a 2 in 1 out cat. So you save $250+ on a ypipe. So My system is still cheaper.
Oh and as far as a y-split for the rear I can get Magnaflow ones for $40 2.5" and 2 x 2.5" out. So if you add $150 for install which would be typical you would be looking at a price better than a Borla (or Bassani) and Y-pipe combo, installed by a pro, so you stay clean and happy and have a full header(precat) back exhaust.
