You'll probably hear a ton of it, so I guess I'll start it:
1. YOU DONT HAVE AN AIRBAG!
2. Your chances of surviving a head on collision just went down 83.66825%
3. Thats Illegal!!
4. Is your airbag light flashing?

LOL. Looks pretty cool. Didn't realize anyone made an adapter to fit our hub. How much that set you back? D.I.Y. or what? Is that a 300ZX gauge pod on the A-pillar?

why would it be illegal not have an airbag. You cant tell me that an older car without a bag is illegal. There is no requirement to have a Bag its just an extra safty precaution.

Okay, Yes, I know, which is why I still have my airbag in the car. I can switch it out the MOMO when I want, and yes, I put it back in, not because it's missing the airbag, but because I missed having cruise control. But, just to let you know, I'm on the shorter side, so I sit closer to the steering wheel, my bag isn't a 2nd gen "depowered bag" so my airbag may cause me more harm than good. The airbag light flashes with the Momo. Hub is made by South County Autosports, and it does say on the hub "FOR SHOW PURPOSES ONLY." See it at www.scracing.net Gauge pod is from a group buy several months back, Lotek engineering produces it. It houses three gauges. www.gaugepods.com Gauges are by Nordskog (used to be Intellitronix), the gauges are electric, back-lighted blue (but changed with a colored bulb), white face. www.intellitronix.com When I get the chance, I'll post more pics of the car and mods, and if David Z lets me, I have a good picture of his car from Fabulous Fords Forever. It is illegal to remove an airbag from a car w/o government approval. There is some process to go through with the NHTSA to get permission to install a switch or whatever. Mostly for people under 5'4" and pregnant women.
Through the end of 99 (I think) there had been 3.3 million air bag deployments. About 5000 lives were saved by the airbags (had it not been for the airbag, the person would have died). 152 deaths were caused by airbags (had it not been for the airbag, the person would have lived), plus countless other severe injuries.
Glad you got photopoint figured out Dion. That wheel looks sharp.
