With the amount he spent on all that... "stuff"... he could've even made that V-6 Mustang a much better performer than it is.
To me rice is something that looks like it's fast but isn't.
And it's ironic, most cars that have actual power work done to them don't look like much hae been done to them.
I had the pleasure of seeing a stock looking 11 second Dodge stealth (street legal except for maybe emissions but I don't think that counts) eat 2 Riced out something-or-others from behind. I was laughing so hard in my helmet I that I almost forgot the light was green.
I think the reason you don't see that stuff for the Contour is that the "old(er) school" owners/drivers don't want to see the Contour go the way of the Civic/Integra/Jetta/Golf/Prelude/etc...etc... They want to stay the way they are/were.
Sadly - the ricer image is becoming popular and, with factories now bolting the parts on from the get-go (ie: Mazda) - the norm.
