As the above figures prove.. Unless you only thought you were racing because most probe owners would laugh at a Zetec powered Tour.. I know four Probe GT owners.. They are quicker than a Zetec.. Unless you raced a regular Probe (Non GT) then maybe you get the crown. But be realistic here.. Freeway races are not the place for real kills.. I don't care what you think you did.. Get your car on the track and put driver to driver, car to car.. and then speak. K?

Dom's right though, PGT's are listed as being between an SVT and a regular Duractec...closer to the SVT (Times are listed faster than the Cougar). You would be correct in saying that a PGT is not a bottle rocket...but neither is the Contour. No way a zetec (short of a turbo) will touch one.

yeah i have raced a couple GT's on Lincoln Way...they were both modded up,had the whole spoiler fancy exhaust and everything and STILL handed them their ass in a paper bag! You haven't seen my truck run yet so i would keep your mouth shut young man.If you don't think my truck can take ANY type of Probe and beat them thats fine all i'm saying is that i did beat 2 of them in one night on the same f*ckin road.Thats ok i have nothing to prove to you cuz atleast i know i beat them.Your just as bad as deadwalkin cardoc so settle down and "don't have a cow"

I'm gonna have to vote for the truck. I've been to plenty of test/tune nights at dragstrips and seen many a truck blow through the 1/4 with some amazing times. He also has a ton more low end power so he should beat you off the line if he hooks up well. Also, how come cardoc doesn't allow people to rate him? That ain't right...

Anybody has the right to turn off their rating. It's pretty meeningless anyway. If you post something someone doesn't like, the give you a 1 even if you offered valuable information.

As far as the race goes, it'd be hard to say who would win without seeing what ets can run in the 1/4. I don't see to much problem hooking up in a truck providing he had the right rubber to do the job.

you know this has gotten a little out of hand... First off...any z-tech that wants to race a PGT... by all means line up... Now as for a SVT??...I wouldnt waste my time or my pride... we all know the outcome of that...
And yes there are many many fast s-10's.. Hell they make a kit you can put any small block chevy v-8 you want in them... Iv seen 9 second s-10's in the 1/4 mile. Iv also seen 13 sec. PGT's.. Just depends on Mods and the driver.. I wanted a v-8 s-10 since I was 16.. Still wouldn't mind it..It would be a REALLY fun toy.. But I also like 60 MPH corners with no body roll so I think ill stick to the probe.. As far as Knocking the PGT's name... wasnt my idea to name it that.. so I take no offence to people teasin about it. Kinda like name calling in the 2cd grade when you have nothing more intelligent to say. Like the S-10 guy said..we all have diffrent tastes, and just because I dont like one thing doesnt mean its a waste of time or wrong to do, It just means I dont like it.. Any way..If you ever see a purple/blue PGT rolling around Wheeling WV and you want to talk or even line up...Pull me over..Id be more then happy to.. Now, we should all play nice. And BTW thanks for posting the stock information on all our cars.. That was the most mature thing I have seen so far.
