Probes are nice cars. Handle very well and a good motor. But the SVT has it bagged. Heck, a pre-98 SE has it covered, with a 2 door dis-advantage. My sister had a 95 GT. I somehow convinced a friend who really wanted a Probe that the Contour SE was just as good, and had 4 doors. He proved it autocrossing.

I think he just likes the thought that he is sitting squarely on top of a Probe.

Just curious, what does your S-10 run 0-60 and quarter? I had most of the same mods as you on my '96 SS sportside and never ran it at the track... well, before the Vortech addition anyway...
