I'll say this..."its along the same lines as the last mod!" I just need to save up a little more cash. One thing though I'm getting the Bullitt fuel door, if it can be made to fit, or I'm getting the SCA door. With those stripes the aluminum fuel door is a given now!

Thank you all who sounded off either way on my current "non-performance" mod. I have a question for ALL of you..."Do you guys think I'm trying to say that this car is fast with the addition of the stripes?" Because the reason I did it was to add to looks of the car and thats it cool

The car IS fast!! Howm many stock 2.5L engines out there boast a top end of 143? It may not be quick to some people, but that is their opinion. They may be the type that look at 1/4 mile times as quick, where as I may look at top end as a dtermining factor of a car being quick. I have seen everything from Dodge Neons, to Suzuki Swifts with stripes. I think it is a statement of personality more than a statement of speed. Just my .02

Your stripes do add to the look of the car not necessarily the speed of the car. That said, I am not a fan of racing stripes however, the level of detail put into the installation and your choice of blue is what makes them work on the S.F. SVT.

Ford offered in '97 only a GTS aesthetics package for the Probe GT. The package primarily consisted of vinyl racing stripes. I turned the option down but have seen them around. Your stripes and the quality of installation (good photos do wonders) could fool people into thinking they are factory.

A true enthusiest you are,

I agree with you 100% I only put the stripes on the car because I wanted to add to the looks and thats it. I feel they do look factory on the car as well! Thanks again.
