man guys - be nice!

someone just shelled out some serious dough for a paint job like that...

remember this is the Contour Enthusiasts Group - it is still a Contour, and someone looks pretty enthusiastic on the paintjob! wink

Toadster is right. Each man has thier castle. And in thier castle they are the king. Take it easy on him. I'm sure he will be getting more eyes placed on his car than most of our cars. I don't think it's all that bad and if I saw it out cruzing my last thought probably would be to laugh. However, I'm not saying that I would do this, or anything like it to my car.

That paint would look right at home on a nice Cali style mini-truck, but doesn't sit right on a 4 door sedan. It would look alright if he had it body droped, shaved all handles, antena etc, and had it rollin on 20"s If I was going to spend that kind of cash on a paint job that was a little outrageous, I would get it done up like the 98 Mondeo btcc car, blue and silver, with all the sponsors on it, dropped with coilovers, and 19" OZ rims. But I'm not this cars owner, oh well.

ok in my opinion that car is fugly ,not unless that car is a show car or heavily moded if not in my eyes it was a waste of money. it reminds me of my friends brother friend, he spent $4,000 for this fugly big mouth body kit and huge book shelf he called a wing for is Integra ,I asked him y didn't you spend that money on a turbo kit instead of making you car look fugly, his reply was and I quote (in your best rice boy voice ) "the ladies don't care bout no turbo"

I agree about it looking better on a mini truck, or something like that. IMO, it would look better with the colors Rydell mentioned. At any rate, it WILL get looks.
