Wouldn't touch an ATX. Most of the fun is red lining it at 8000. Powerband peak is at 7300 (max torqe at 4300). Also yours is bound to have air con, which is another power grabber (we value heaters more in Sunny Britain
)
Biggest problem would be you would need 95Ron gas as minimum to run it and 98Ron is a lot better.
Its funny, in England where we have dense traffic and lots of stop starts we go for MTX whereas in the US where you cruise in second all day (3rd is for over 70mph) you fit ATX.
Also mine likes to cruise at 140mph on the Autobahn's which would get me in serious trouble your side of the pond.
Get some decent gas in yours and get the work done on the engine and you will have an SVT killer as its a lot lighter.
