I would've passed on leather if it was an option. I just dont need it, it would get to beat up, etc. I would've got the sunroof if it were an option, i like those, but it wasnt gonna keep me from buying the car. The idea that the WRX is a real rally car is just as absurd as SUV advertising showing off road adventures. The only time those things are off road is when they roll over in a ditch.

anyone see the blue rally car in the WRX only brochure.... it has projector headlights, similar to a morette conversion, looks much better. well, the car also has much wider fenders, roof scoop, roll cage.. blahblahblah.

This car was made for purists. If you want a Sunroof or whatever, get a different model really. No leather saves weight. No power Seats saves weight. Aluminum hood (heh) saves weight. The tires are iffy but they're easily replaced once they're worn down.
This is not meant to be a "cruising" type car. The 40s/50s crowd buying them probably went to the dealer looking for a Forester or something and saw it sitting there and wanted it as a replacement. Or they could just be as enthusiastic as we are.
Final word is, it's meant to be for people who know what WRX/WRC is and know the compromises made for performance.
It's like asking why the trunk is so small in a Porche.

I did notice that I didn't change the part of the body that you can see through the rear window..oh well) and its on geocities so if it doesn't work then click here edited part: OK screw geocities..I just opened a photopoint account ------------------ Alex L. 00' SVT Contour new engine: 11-00 @11,000 miles MonsterFlow filter superwhite bulbs Sony X-plode face Valentine One Radar [This message has been edited by SoCalSVT (edited April 28, 2001).] [This message has been edited by SoCalSVT (edited April 28, 2001).]

I have a suggestion for you...get a WRX decal made for the bottom/rear of the black panel, I think that would look good! Just a little addition to a great and in my opinion GREAT LOOKIN' car Roger R 2000 SVT #1253 of 2150
