That one little scene with girl going under the tractor trailer is pretty cool... I cant imagine how many kids are going to die trying it...

Your name is British Banger so maybe the specs are different in Europe but the Supra TT in the US does the 0-60 in 5 flat and the 1/4 in 13.4. That is not to mention that these cars are probably one of the best cars out there to work on because you get so much horsepower for everything you do to it. There are so many people out there that run 500-600+ hp that can even use their car as their daily driver. Anyways, I agree with you that this car is anything BUT rice. I heard that they're selling the car that they used in the movie I don't remember how much. I'd rather keep mine clean and classy though.

Did I mention that this car has incredible high end power and that many people have regularly beaten vipers, C5, saleens, ferraris, and porsches?

Uh, I can't wait to see it, as for paying for it though... Hehe, nope! Just bust into the theatre and run as fast as you can. As long as they don't see where you go, you are golden!

there's going to be some incredible driving,
and the more RX-7s and Supras the better! It
should also be fun to see which tuners/brands
get mentioned in the movie.

There seems to be a race against a huge blown
big-block 60s car in the trailer (that ends,
uh, interestingly), so maybe there will be a
little more variety than some expect...

Basically, the movie is about a cop that gets sent undercover and joins this "gang' of import drivers. These import guys highjack 18wheels and steal all their goods. The cop ends up falling in love iwth the gang's leaders sister and gets into some deap sheeeot.

the supra was being sold on e-bay(one of them at least..many were built of each car for the movie)...it was tuned over 600 hp IIRC maybe not that much but had upgraded turboes and twin nitrous system....I saw the Rx-7 and the Supra at the LA Autoshow...totally BADASS!

HINZ, unfortunatly I do live in America, and Motor Trend did rate it at 5.1 0-60 and a 13.5 quarter mile. I thought it was around 5.5 because of the 1/4 mile time.

Yeah the movie is stupid. It's a Gone in 60 Seconds wannabe. It was made to appeal to the younger generation (I guess me?). But I am not waiting to see this movie.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. What makes it like Gone in 60 seconds? Because it has fast cars? If that's the case, then Gone in 60 seconds copied off about 20 other movies. Anyway, I dont see what was copied. The plots are totally different, the cars are totally different, and the actors are totally different.

Dont even think about comparing 'Gone in 60 Seconds' to this movie!
Thats like comparing the new 'F1' movie w/Stalone to 'Hurrbie'. TFATF is way faster paced than GI60S.
