After I got my resonator removed I got annoyed with the drone in the cabin, the over all sound was okay but the drone sucked.
What I did was follow someone elses advice and take 2 2x4 sheets of insulation foam. The big white stuff a inch thick at home depot for 2.99. I took out the carpet liner in the trunk and traced it onto the foam. I cut it to shape (helps if you have a hotwire) and put it in under the carpet liner.
Result: Didnt help on the resonator at all. Not sure if it would help Mr. Borla either. IMPROVED DRAMATICALY with overall road noise, tire noise was down immensly. For 6 bucks I believe this is the best and easiest way to aproach it. If your not happy take it out oh well. Try it before you blow a ton of cash on sound deadener for 26 bucks a can. Especially if your only worries are road noise. Good luck.
