Hey, I wanna propose a meet/time.
Sept. 23rd is a Sunday and is gonna pretty much be an open time trial day at Thompson (the dragstrip). Anyone up for it? Even if ya don't run it'd be a great place to meet. It's pretty much centrally located whether or not you're coming from Youngstown or Cleveland (give or take a bit). The exit off of Rt. 90 is mere blocks from my house, so people could meet there and we could all show together.
Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

I am most likely going to Thompson on that weekend. hoping to try and get my headers on for it, but I have no time this week maybe next week...but 75% sure that I'll be there, hoping for a nice cool dry day

Would you guys mind if a North Carolina CEGer shows up?
I'm flying up that Thursday to spend 4 or 5 days with my dad in Columbus, OH.
How far is this place from Columbus?
My dad and I are going to the Columbus Motor Speedway (I think that is the name) that Saturday. If you any of you guys in the area want to meet up let me know.
I'll probably be drivng a 91 LX 5.0 or 2000 Camary. More than likely the 5.0.

For those of you considering it, here's an idea of directions: Find Rt. 90 (east-west interstate, top of Ohio for you out-of-towners). East of Cleveland, Rt. 528 crosses 90-- that's the exit. The track is about 15 min. south of there. From Columbus you'd get on 71 north to 271 north to 90 east.
I'll have more detailed directions as we get closer if people are actually gonna show. As I said, my house is right there, so maybe we could meet and go in together.
