you want more torque, increase displacement, or get a set of shm headers. anything short of that isn't going to give you much of anything in the low-end torque department.
I've seen the SHM vs MSDS comparisons... but somehow I can't remember. Wasn't it the MSDS headers that improve low-end torque?
I could've sworn I'd read an article (on the Summit web site) that stated shorty headers are better for low-end torque... I'll have to check that out again...
Secondly, would it or would it not be cheaper to raise the bore/stroke of a 2.5 block rather than buy a (junked) 3.0 and have it swapped in by a shop?
