I don't mean to be a pooper... But if you live in an E-check area.. Adding headers is going to be a pain to get it to pass.. We have ways down here to get them to pass.. But I'm sure you don't want to jump through hoops and spend $600.00 to $1000.00 for headers and not pass E-check.. That would suck! Even if you installed two hi-flow cats with a special custom y-pipe .. I'm not sure it would pass.. That's a big sticking point with headers... Down here we don't have E-check.. So I can get away with almost anything.. But as a suggestion - I would seriously steer away from headers unless you are committed to the fact that you might not pass and have to go out of your way to get it to..

Several cars that have them (I read this in the group buy) in SO. Cal pass thee tough e-crap with flying colors, thye just let the car run for a bit to get the 3rd cat warn enough for it to do its job. I have to get my car e-crapped this year and will have headers on it by the time it needs to be checked.

There was a group buy on the MSDS headers from CTA Motorsports, check em out at http://ctamotorsports.cjb.net or email Chirs Wong (he's also a CEG member) at chris@ctamotorsports.cjb.net the bad thing is there is a month wait atleast. I will have mine by June when I paid for them the second week of April. The headers are like $550 plus shipping, I got the Vortech Spec ones for the SC later, looks like I'll be putting them on at the same time now.

I cant say for sure if it will pass, but its a risk I am willing to take.

It's like playing Roulette... You never know which hand you are going to get... I know of a workaround for that issue.. But it's not a hi-flo solution.. And I haven't tested the hi-flo solution yet because I'm waiting for my supplier to ship me the new cats..

P.S. Rick - I'll check on the wholesale prices on O2 sensors today.. Sorry it wasn't sooner.. I've been hella busy lately!

Ok Rick... O2 sensors... Front O2's are 69.00 a piece.. list $118.00 from Ford (These are factory parts!) And the Catalyst monitoring (rear O2's) are 67.75.. List $115.00 a piece. Now I called for aftermarket prices.. But they were actually more expensive than factory parts.. and I would rather have factory to be honest! Keep in mind that this is wholesale pricing and not regular retail.. Go ahead.. call the Ford dealership and check the regular price..(that's list).. I'd be happy to acquire anything for a Ohio CEG member at my cost through our local Ford garage if ya let me know!

P.S. I ordered the new style cupholders.. The uesful ones..not the useless one's we have..lol out of a 2000 MY SVT... came to $20.. and some change.. They come in a new service kit.. I'll post part numbers and pics when I get them on Tuesday!
