Its just the generic glasspack that most exhaust shops use. I was not concerned with the glass wearing out becuase how could it get any louder than it was with a str8 pipe.
It is a small (about 12in x 3.5in)resonator and it has baffles inside. These are just little dimples that are raised up from the tubing. When turn backwards the exhaust travels over the baffles instead of into them. This in turn spins the exhaust and eliminates the resonance causes by the high speed travel of the exhaust. This is how it was explained to me and it definitely works. 1 month and it is still sounding great; and as loud as ever!
