I live in Columbus and I am employed by the State of Ohio(Unemployment). If you lose your job, give me a call! Hey Chris M., you live on campus? I stay around Morse and Maize Rd. Maybe I'll see you around!

The meeting place I picked was Canton or Fairlawn only because I saw it as beneficial to all and there is ample places to meet. Also we are getting officers together, all those who want to volunteer for coordinating duties can email me and we will get started - Those of you who have a knack for scouting out adventure I welcome you to give us a shout (Even if you can't attend)
Thanks everyone and we have the ball rolling - Thanks Lance for the forum and hope to see everyone soon!

[This message has been edited by Cardoctor (edited March 09, 2001).] Just a thought Cardoctor, why don't we have a meet at Summit Racing? It's in the Akron area, and people who haven't been there can check it out. I know they don't sell that much for our 'tours, but it is kinda cool to check out. If there is going to be more than a few people there we may want to check this out with Summit to see if it is OK though. Then maybe we can have a meeting at Jeg's for the Columbus CEGers and anyone else who wants to show. Just a thought. Anybody else have any input? Anyone else know of any other performance related places to meet in Ohio? ------------------ Ted Garfield Hts.,OH '95 SE,Duratec,MTX,fogs w/parks,Ray's THF,rear dome, tranny cocktail, minor stereo mods.

I'd like to post a quick apology to Cardoc. When I began to try and get a meeting together of the NE Ohio Contour's, I didn't realize that an effort was already underway to get a meeting together as well as a chapter started. So if it looked like I was trying to one up him or go over his head, I wasn't. My apologies. I live in North Canton by the way. I am a senior at the University of Akron in the School of Business.

QUICSVT, I don't think you hurt anyones feelings, or that anyone thought that you were trying to "one up" them. I just think we were all ready and wanting an Ohio branch, and I think because of us all, we now have one! :-)

Thanks tdavidk. I really appreciate your kind words, but I know at least one person was upset by the misunderstanding. I'm just glad it's cleared up now, and I am very excited about this whole thing too. By the way, I bout my tour' on my birthday too...April 7, 2000. Great birthday present hugh?

Hey Ted, Summit Racing sounds good as a meeting spot - and actually they do have some parts for Contiques/SVT's... Accel and Taylor spark plug wires/Spark plugs/Superchips/and other little knick knacks..(Probably not in stock though...lol) Once I got a few officers together I thought we would determine the place of meet at that time..(Being that I would be honored to have you as an officer). Also any input from the rest of the guys will determine where we meet up. Thanks Ted, Talk to you soon Dom(Cardoctor) ------------------ Nicky (Cardoctor@neo.rr.com) 1998 Contour SVT E0 (Dark Toreador Red - Midnight Blue int.) #3544 of 6535 StreetGlow HID-look H/L's 80W... 885 Fogs.. Vortex exhaust into 2 2 1/4" outs.. Added Stock rear wing and moonroof switch mod(light) Fog light fix (on with parks) No need for TH fix..(used to it now)shifts just fine. They are out! I picked up their last set of Taylor wires yesterday! LOL. They will probably get more in though......I would hope! By the way they don't carry NGK plugs for our cars. I ended up getting Bosch+4s from Autozone. [This message has been edited by tdavidk (edited March 11, 2001).]

Yeah, NGK would be nice but I want something that isn't going to be needed replaced in 30K or so... I was contemplating Nippondenso Iridium plugs.. But they're 15.00 a piece.. But they last a lifetime from what I am told. Almost 3 times stronger than platinum and can withstand almost double the heat... Oh well... I'll tinker with them when the price drops a little... Just don't let me find out that anyone here has installed Splitfire plugs in their Tour... shame on you, what a bad waste of money!
