dan is correct. i love my 95 se seats and so does everyone that has ever rode in the front. i think that is the aspect of my car that i have gotten the most compliments on. there is nothing like flying through the twisties with your car holding on to you making sure you stay glued to your seat.

Streetconcepts,
How is the quality of the material on your seats? I've seen some pretty flimsy fabric used (MOMO seats suck...)Some seem they are made of inverted sweat shirt material. Does not bode well for long term durability. I'm looking for a tightly woven fabric, like the ones used in older vws or the acura type R.
Lastly, what was the total cost of your package? It does not sound cheap...

If I read your post correctly, racerdave, you said your back was sick of your SE seats. My back can not take the lateral forces or the impact due to MI roads and new suspension. I could really care less about the leather. The quality is good enough for a $23,000 car. It shouldn't be Mercedes level. It does the job, but the lateral support is awful. My old SHO had much better support. I am looking to see what's available to upgrade so I don't have to flex my back everytime I want to play in my car. Seth, I think I'll call you, but I understand Recaro seats are way expensive.
Anyone have any suggestions for better seats that can somehow closely match Ford's ******* Midnight blue - cool, but not too popular.

Having both a 95 SE and 98.5 SVT, both with leather, I noticed that the SE's seats were completely leather on the seating surfaces while the SVT seats are only leather in the centre portions of the seats. Not sure if this is only my SVT, but has anyone else noticed this the same?
