Misfits cool.

I am also a HUGE fan of Crass's FEEDING OF THE 5000. Aweful music, great lyrics.

The crap that today is passed off as punk sucks.

A LOT of today's punk sucks. I'll agree to that. I will also agree that Crass's music is terrible, but they have some good lyrics. I will also add that NOFX has been playing since 1983, Rancid which partly started off as Op Ivy from mid 80's, and Bad Religion started in 1981! The Vandals are also from the late 80's and the Ramones, well you should know when that started. So what I'm saying is that the bands that I like have been aroud for a long time, and know what they are doing and know how to write and play true punk music. But new groups like Sum 41, Blink 182, New Found Glory, etc... all blow hard. It's not even punk, its just fast paced pop.

Ok...kind of. Brothers Keeper(not punk) played a whole set of Misfits covers at this last years Hellfest. They did a good job on "God Damn Son of a *****" and a few of the others. I agree that todays popunk all sucks hardcore...and fat mike...i now get ur name. I saw NOFX and Bad Religion on Thursday...it was pretty cool. Both were good shows.

They did a good job on "God Damn Son of a *****" and a few of the others.

The song is called Where Eagles Dare.

I have a record from them as well. Second printing of Walk Among Us with the pink background as opposed to the more common purple.
