The time to take out Sadam was during the Gulf War. A real threat has to be apparent for this type of action and there is presently none though there is much speculation. I would back taking out Sadam if we lived in a rational world, but other nations will not back the US and the Arab world is so backward that any action against Iraq will increase terrorist attacks against the US. But if Iraq does use chemical/biological/nuclear weapons or give others this ability? Well, then there will be clear justification for war and Sadam would be taken out in day. I am am an optimist but thinking about the Fundamental Religiousness depresses me. So over and out...
