[/qb][/QUOTE]What do you mean not valuable for anything?
i was speaking of the ferns in Alaska that Al Gore put on the endangered list in 1995. it's a fern. plant it elsewhere if it's that important. it provides nothing except a reason why we can't drill in Alaska for oil.
Now back on topic. Where in SE DC do you see anybody who rich? That has to be one of the poorist ares in the nation and the capital is like only 2 miles away...
i agree, that is a poor area, very poor. but nowhere near the level of Kandahar (sp?) or other third world countries. the people in SE DC aren't lying in the streets starving to death, the gov't. picks up the tab and provides the people in that area with reduced housing and finacial aid to try and better their lives. that doesn't happen in third world countries.
Before the United States attacks anything I believe they need to have a valid reason. Bush cliams that saddam has Weapons Of Mass Destruction.. Okay where are they?
did you forget that 2-3 years ago Saddam wouldn't let UN (not US) inspectors into his factories to look around for evidence of nuclear/biological weapons being made? he's insane, not stupid. Iraq is full of underground bunkers that stuff can easily be held in. maybe that's where they are.
we should let countries fight thier own wars, but genocide is not a war. there is a point that someone should step in and say enough. that's the job of the U.N. which we belong to. but to each his own, nuke the b*stards.
