What? Isolationism would turn this country into a sitting duck. I don't mean any disrespect to canadians....but blowing up a bunch of canadians would be pointless. They're not a financial power, military power, or anything. Terrorists are against our way of life. They don't believe in capitalism, or democracy, or freedom even. Their acts are "justified" with cries of revenge or how we have oppressed them in however many ways. It's nothing more than meaningless drivel scribbled on a dinner napkin by some bipolar rich arab with a long beard and lots of money. Jealousy is the reason, believe it or not. If we were to pull out of every country and keep to ourselves we'd have NO warning of the next psychopath to hijack a jet and slam it into a building. Is that what you want? It might not always be the prettiest thing but US involvement might just be for our own safety and protection. Maybe you should leave the leadership to the leaders. And lets not forget the billions of dollars we spend on other countries, feeding other countries people who are starving to death while tyrannical leaders horde all the countries money to buy guns. Cause we're such an oppressive and imperialistic country. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Guess that goes with being the ONLY superpower left in the world.

I personally believe Saddam should be "assasinated" by an unknown person. Sometimes it's not that simple.
Hmm... You really think they are jealous?
Do you know how many people INCLUDING INNOCENT PEOPLE the U.S. have killed in the middle east...
I suggest you go read a bit before talking from top of your head...
U.S. has done way more things to all those countries and thats what happens when you piss off people not exactly when they get jealous!
I'll bet you life in Iran and Iraq was much better than life in the U.S. about 40 years ago... Let me think again maybe the U.S. was jealous shocked
