I hope it turns out ok.
On the bright side, my 17 y/o sister has been driving her n/a Sundance with little or no coolant for the longest time.
"I put water in it, its cool for a few days, then it gets hot really fast all of the sudden". 
Hopefully you will be able to be that lucky.
I haven't the slightest idea where its going or how its getting out either. No water in the oil, and no bubbles in the radiator, all the hoses are fine (no signs of leakage when the car has coolant and is warm). FWD Mopars have never been my speciality though either.
Perhaps I could talk her into beefing up the little Sundance if your car dies?
