I just get this call from my roomate asking me what I did with his CD case that was in his car. I'm like WTF are you talking about. I guess someone last night took all of his CD's out of his case and left all the CD's on his seat, not taking one of them. But that's not the strangest part. He now has a bunch of other CD's that he doesn't own that the person left. Nothing else was touched. He had a pair of Oakley sunglasses and a really expensive fuzz buster that wasn't touched either. I asked if he locked the car and he stated that he can't remember. He hit the remote from far away so he couldn't hear it unlock. Maybe someone is now a barter thief. My crappy CD's for your case.

I walked out one day, and get in the car.. the glove box is open... hm... WTF? My wallet is left in the car(my bad for forgetting it, but still) the cd's are there.. the radio is there.. money, inside the arm console is there.. nothing missing... I now have a "Toyota" emblem keychain on my floorboard... I don't know how they got in. Maybe I forgot to lock it, but I always unlock it from upstairs at my door, so I can't tell if I forgot, or I just happened to have already unlocked it myself.. Stupid, huh?

The only way to get at the keys would be to break into the house in the middle of the night. My other roomate started laughing just as hard I did I guess. I told him it must have been aliens or something.

Reminds me of the story of the guy who robbed the convenience store, by putting a $20 bill on the counter and asking for change. He then tells the clerk to give him all the money in the drawer. He takes off after the clerk hands him the contents of the register, and he leaves the $20 on the counter. When they do the count to find out how much he got, they found out he got almost $15.....and left the $20! Kind of makes you wonder who's robbing who?

A guy I know had his car stolen and the only thing that was missing when it was recovered was a picture of him with 2 strippers. CD's/stereo/sunglasses not touched .....

I was stupid enough to leave a printer in the front seat of my pickup the first night that my wife and I were in our new apartment over a year ago. Don't take chances like that anymore. I came out the next morning and most of the stuff inside my truck was gone.

My roommate had his 97 Type R broken into a few weeks ago. I came in, the car was sitting in the middle of the parking lot, running. Nothing was stolen and they even took the time to unscrew all the screw around the steering column, set them in a neat pile on the floorboard, clean out the glass, but couldn't break the steering lock hence it sitting in the middle of the parking lot. They did leave a screw driver and a nail they used to break the driver's side window.
Stupid crooks. Jeez, at least take something to make it worthwhile.
