If I have the router connected, like I do now, it takes a complete restart for MSIE to see the internet again after the router is disconencted.
Does your router have any lights on it telling you what speed the computers are attached at? My Linksys has some, and I know that this computer has the slowest connection in the house.
Its still cable speed though.
Other then that, I can't help much more. I am not good with routers.
