I don't have any problem with limited trade restrictions, but the problem is products will become more expensive, reducing purchasing levels.
Not to mention the long-term political effects of saying "screw you" to our trading partners. There might not have been any major retaliation for the steel thing, but rest assured the act will be remembered.
