The only point I am trying to make with this situation is that MR SVT is an experienced CEG'er, not a NEWBIE!!!! He is literally asking a question that you can find
572 RESULTS for by just using search. If you are trying to tell me that he cannot find the opinions he wants in that many threads, how the hell can we help him anyways????
There is nothing wrong with discussing topics that have already been discussed before as long as you have a different angle about the topic that you wish to discuss.
You're telling me that if I came on the forums and asked a question such as :
"Can you tell me what to do with my car because I have no idea what i want?"
you would be more than happy to tell me what i should do, even though I have been here for more than a year and should have at least put a little research and detail in my question before I went and posted a thread b/c I was lazy?
Personally, I think that the thread was started because MR SVT didn't want to put the legwork into finding out his answers so he just posted because it is
EASIER!!!! Beyond that he didn't even take the time to put it in the right forum.
Besides, if we keep it up, by the end of the year we will no longer have anything to talk about, since everything has been discussed before
If you want too keep repeating topics JUST to keep the board full of useless threads, go ahead, but at that rate no progress will be made and new ideas and mods will not be found. I also disagree with you because if you have noticed other members have been trying new routes to performance with our cars and we have more useful posts now than since I have been here. Look at the new developments with the 3L for instance, there are probably five in this forum right now that are breaching new grounds. The whole point of the forums is for us to
discussideas not repeat to people the plain facts that they can look up themselves!
Plain fact of the matter, this was a poorly worded question that showed a complete lack of disregard for all the members on the board that actually spend time here and do their homework before they go opening a thread about something.
This is not a personal attack on MR SVT by any means, he just happened to be the poster child in this instance...newbies are one thing, established members don't have an excuse...just my opinion :rolleyes:
