I think its some one from Ebay, they keep sending me stuff with bat. files attached to them, they are from someone Ive never heard of before. They try to trick me into opening them by putting a message in the topic of the email like "I cant wait to see you again" from AMY or I made a game for you to try, your the first player!I told my wife about it so she wont open the ones from some "woman".What can I do to get this guy back?He changes his email when I block him,or to try to trick me.He has tried all kinds of stuff to get me to open his files.Like "great ebay tools" or games or letters from women, and now Im getting porn spam. What to do What to do.Can I find out where abouts this person lives? His ISP? Thanks!

This guy/gal/kid is most likly not sending them on purpose. The KLEZ virus has been really getting around. It automaticly reads outlooks address book and then just starts sending viruses out with a different subject on each one...please read on virus info

It also seems to be effecting MSN online mail as well because people have gotten it from my email account. I don't use outlook from home or work, only msn online access. Up to date virus scans on my home and work computers come up empty too... this is one kick ass virus to keep mutating like this...

I got a few and then found the "source" of the emails and sent that person an email telling them they had a virus. No more KLEZ emails.

Rules for avoiding computer viruses:
1. Don't open attachments from people you don't know.
2. Don't open attachments from people you DO know if you aren't expecting them!
3. See rules one and two.
4. When in doubt, throw it out.

Ahh.... PC / Wintel users... Get a real computer, or atleast a real operating system, and you wouldn't have to worry about silly virii's. Tim

Dude, I'm not saying you opened the attachments. You did everything right! I'm just offering my public service announcement to anyone else reading the thread.
I do network security for a living, so I can't begin to tell you how many users don't follow rules 1 and 2.
