I have both Eibachs and H & R's eibachs in the front and H & r's in the rear looks so much more level no ass down nose up or nose down ass up look just nice levelness.

By the way, notice how there are a lot less posts lately...? Maybe things like this are the reason we have 3000+ members and only a few hundred that post. I totally have to agree with you. If someone asks a question now a days, someone here comes and make them look stupid and that is just plain wrong. Besides, if we keep it up, by the end of the year we will no longer have anything to talk about, since everything has been discussed before. I think questions are what keep these forums alive. Lets put it this way, why some people here keep posting pics of there car over and over again?? Why don't he/she says search the forums to see pics of my car? No!! "look I just took some cool pics of my car today, nothing have changed buy here they are!!" I think some people are just plain rude and think that because they have 1000 post makes them the big PAPAS of CEG. That's why I see less and less topics comming up, because people are afraid to get flamed if they ask questions. Lets tone it down with "you fool use the search feature, don't you see it" type of comments. :rolleyes:

The only point I am trying to make with this situation is that MR SVT is an experienced CEG'er, not a NEWBIE!!!! He is literally asking a question that you can find 572 RESULTS for by just using search. If you are trying to tell me that he cannot find the opinions he wants in that many threads, how the hell can we help him anyways???? There is nothing wrong with discussing topics that have already been discussed before as long as you have a different angle about the topic that you wish to discuss. You're telling me that if I came on the forums and asked a question such as : "Can you tell me what to do with my car because I have no idea what i want?" you would be more than happy to tell me what i should do, even though I have been here for more than a year and should have at least put a little research and detail in my question before I went and posted a thread b/c I was lazy? Personally, I think that the thread was started because MR SVT didn't want to put the legwork into finding out his answers so he just posted because it is EASIER!!!! Beyond that he didn't even take the time to put it in the right forum. Besides, if we keep it up, by the end of the year we will no longer have anything to talk about, since everything has been discussed before If you want too keep repeating topics JUST to keep the board full of useless threads, go ahead, but at that rate no progress will be made and new ideas and mods will not be found. I also disagree with you because if you have noticed other members have been trying new routes to performance with our cars and we have more useful posts now than since I have been here. Look at the new developments with the 3L for instance, there are probably five in this forum right now that are breaching new grounds. The whole point of the forums is for us to discussideas not repeat to people the plain facts that they can look up themselves! Plain fact of the matter, this was a poorly worded question that showed a complete lack of disregard for all the members on the board that actually spend time here and do their homework before they go opening a thread about something. This is not a personal attack on MR SVT by any means, he just happened to be the poster child in this instance...newbies are one thing, established members don't have an excuse...just my opinion :rolleyes:

I understand where you are coming from, but look carefully @ his question...
How basic of a question is that?
If he just would have said, "ok sorry, I'll search for the topics re: springs, Eibachs, and H&Rs", his questions would have been answered.
Plain and simple, it was easier for him to just make a new topic and ask questions, without bothering to 'SEARCH' for them.
I'm VERY FAR from being one of the most knowledgable people on this UBB, so lemme tell you, I USE SEARCH VERY OFTEN.
As a matter of fact, I use search every time I post a question, to see if it has been answered before. Hell, takes about 2 mins, and chances are you'll get more responses and they will be quick, simply because they are already there.
You also have to realize, that people have answered these types of questions before, and don't want to answer them again, therefore your chances of getting quality responses to a post like this aren't very good. Just look what has happened to this thread....
Oh, and I draw the line when people start namcalling, i.e. MR SVT.
Sorry, you won't get my opinion on my Koni/Eibach setup. Use SEARCH to find it.

Ok seriously, you people who are talking about the search function need to calmn down. Since when did we have a cap on how many topics could be posted before it was shut down?? As to my knowledge there wasn't. So whats the big deal if something gets posted more than once? I have read the same thing many times and still don't mindf reading it again. If you don't like a post cause it has been here before then don't read it....It's that simple. Saves for a lot of arguements. Why try to be the Big Boy by telling people to use the search function???
Were all equal, let's act like it.
Ohh and what with the Sorry??? I didn't know we had to start apologizing for posting a new topic. Ill think twice next time before I do. I don't want to get anyone upset for not searching first. Geeeez this is ridiculous!

Beyond that he didn't even take the time to put it in the right forum.[/b] bored at work, so i decided to use the search function. my results: springs - 573 eibach - 314 h&r - 213 lower - 200 ground control - 92 tried a couple combinations: lower car - 591 lower spring - 159 eibach koni - 218 eibach h&r - 205 i never flame a newbie for not using the search function. i jokingly responded to mr svt - an OLD member - and tried to provide useful information. know what i got out of it? got called names.

I'm not saying, 'if you don't search, you're stupid', but at least make the ATTEMPT to look for the answer before posting a question which theoretically wastes bandwidth. No attempt to search by MR SVT, NO ATTEMPT. Yes, we're all equal, so lets act like it. Exactly, most people use Search, so why doesn't everybody else? Because it's laziness. Something so petty like preaching cause someone doesn't use the search function does nothing but bring forth arguments, so why bother even saying anything...thats why these forumns are here, for discussions. I have said my mind. I all done. Im not going to continue this sort of thing. I would hate for this board to get all filled with pissing matches like some of the club si boards I have seen. Thats what makes us good here. No pissing.
