good thing you caught it now and got the diagnosis/treatment at this stage.
My dad had pneumonia once when I was younger.
he just thought he had a cold or flu or something and since he's a workhorse who refuses to let anything get in the way of him supporting his family, he just kept working and took over the counter stuff.
ended up at the hospital for a couple days cuz it got so bad.
